This well established trail along the Nikawa Valley offers a full range of beautiful natural scenery. Log bridges over valleys littered with huge rocks are a thrill to cross. Labels on the trees indicate their species, making the area excellent for learning about nature. Following the sounds of the mountain streams will take you to a magnificent multi-stage waterfall, and proceeding another 400 m onwards will bring you to a rest station. Depending on the season, whether it’s fresh green leaves or warm autumn colors, Ryumonkyo gorge offers vastly different, yet always stunning scenery. It's a delightful location that will sooth the soul.
